Every year, our Maintenance Supervisor, Jerry Marshall and his church (Community Christian Church) come to our facility for The Big Serve. It is on this day that a team of volunteers brings the staff and residents treats and spends their Sunday afternoon planting flowers and this year re-painting our car spaces! We are so thankful to have them faithfully come every year!
We love to eat good food and to take advantage of the warm weather!
We enjoyed Hot Dogs, hamburgers and not seen is the watermelon, potato salad and Claudia’s famous Red Lucy!
It is always nice for family members to stop by and be a part of our festivities.
For the months of February 2016 and March 2016, we honored two employees that possess many wonderful qualities. Each possess a strong work ethic, they are kind, friendly and always lend a helping hand to both residents and staff here at The Bradley Court.
Fernando Enriquez has worked in our dietary department for the last 3 1/2 years. He comes to work with a huge smile every morning and sets a great example as to what a true team player looks like. We are very grateful to have him be a part of our family at The Bradley Gardens.
Melanie Torres has worked in our housekeeping department for the last 2 years and she truly makes our home here at The Bradley Gardens sparkle. She is quite dependable and we are always happy to know that she is around ensuring that our residents rooms and overall facility environment is kept to it’s high standards.
Spring is upon us and here at The Bradley Gardens we are excited for the warm weather and the blooming flowers! As the month continues, check in to see what we have planned for our residents. For example, we will be planning our semi-annual BBQ for both residents and Staff or come to our monthly resident candlelight dinner which will be on April 28th where we encourage our family members and their loved ones here at our facility to enjoy the residents choice of BBQ ribs, potato salad and a delicious dessert.
In addition, we will also be preparing for National Nursing Home Week where we show our appreciation to our dedicated staff that makes our facility the home that it is for all of our residents.
